What action do you take to improve sales when business is not good or no sale?

This is another episode of the 《Entrepreneurship Tips》.
The topic that we will be talking about today has been happening for decades until now.
Therefore, I will share with you “What should you DO & DON'T DO when there is no sale in business.
This is the Part 1 on how to improve sales.
Firstly, I will break down “what you should do” into 2 points.
2 Forbidden Actions that You DO & DON'T DO
1) Forbidden Action – DO NOT Look for Any Customer
At this moment, what you shouldn't do is look for any customer.
Yes, it’s not a typo error and your eyesight has no issue.
You must be curious “I already have no sales in business,
if I don’t look for any customer, how can I improve my sales and get profit?”
Yes, you’re right. I won’t blame you for that.
Usually, we will be thinking about looking for more customers right away when we have no sales in business.
But have you discovered who they will look for in the first place in general?
Ring any bells?
Yes, the answer is their family, friends, or relatives.
If you’re looking for them at this moment, what would they feel?
Normally they will feel pressure, don't they?
They might not or don’t need the product you’re trying to sell to them.
However, because of the relationship between you and them,
they most likely had to purchase the product they didn’t need from you.
But after the purchase, they feel like wasting money.
Sooner or later, they will try to stay away from you.
If you get rejected, more or less you also will feel uncomfortable or not happy with them.
In addition, you will feel that they were not helping you when you were in trouble.
It will cause the relationship to become worse with them.
Do you agree with this?
I believe that you have seen or even encountered similar circumstances before,
like those who do direct sales or insurance, etc.
They will look for someone who is around them in the first place generally.
People are afraid you will look for them and ask them to buy something from you,
when you knew you were doing direct sales or insurance,
It is because most of them don't like to be sold.
I believe you are one of them, am I right to say that?
Conclusion
So please remember, DO NOT look for customers, especially someone you know.
It is because relying on a “selling relationship” to you is not a long-term solution.
Unless the product that you are selling is what they need.
What you need to do is tell them that you’re selling this product.
If they need it, they can look for you, simple as that.
Of course, the main point is that your product can help them SOLVE their issue.
They will think about you or look for you when they need it.
So that you don’t need to keep pushing them to buy from you.

2) Forbidden Action – DO NOT Do Promotions
A company will do promotions when the sales are not good in general.
As and when you can see some people will set up a small booth,
print a bunch of catalogs, and hire people to send flyers to those passes on the street.
Some companies will even hire young models if they have a budget.
I believe you have encountered countless people trying to hand over the flyer to you, haven’t you?
You might not take the flyers or look at them.
Even if you took it you also don’t treat it seriously.
Guess what? You will usually throw it in the trash can after you leave the place.
Sounds familiar, right?
If the ad copy of the flyer is not attractive enough, most likely you don’t have to expect much from it already.
For example, you’ve sent 3000 pieces of flyers out.
It might be only a few people who turn around.
Designing flyers, printing, and hiring people, all of these need money.
Thus, I highly recommend it’s better to save the money back at this moment.
