Affiliates generate traffic to a Network that is then directed to an advertiser.
If the affiliate generates a sale, then the Network knows about it and the affiliate is notified.
The network makes a small commission for the exact sales that are generated.

1) Industry - Go for the BOOMING industry which leads to high demands that you could generate income more easily.
2) Company - Identify a great company that you could align with.
3) Products - How do you find great products to promote as an independent affiliate?
Compare the commission rates and payment schedules
Obvious but important!
Don’t just default to the high-commission product in the category.
Pick the one you think is the best for you.
Find out the threshold for payment, payment frequency, payment method,
and other factors so you know how and when you will be paid.
